Vernon, U.S. Army, the author of “Angels Watching Over Me” who served the United States Military for over 37 years and retired at the rank of Colonel, a Department of Defense civilian and Township Supervisor. In 2012, he was prominent conservative candidate for the U.S. Senate in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He served in Viet Nam and survived serious attacks.   He and his family reside in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Inside the cover of his page turning book, he shares his childhood, poverty, and his struggles that led him to the U.S. Army leading to a career in the U.S. Army and a myriad of prestigious Military awards.  He shares his knowledge and perspective that question the direction the world is spinning and the downhill slide of the United States. He discusses how the nation is headed down the wrong path and how to stop it.
